The Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origins website proceeds to Rickroll viewers with new trailer

The Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins Official Website has been updated with a link to a new trailer for its upcoming first expansion and clicking on that link will proceed to give viewers a good old-fashioned rickroll by loading the official music video for Rick Astley’s ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’.

I suppose some memes are just too classic to ever go out of style.

For what it’s worth Square Enix has uploaded the actual Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin Trials of the Dragon King teaser trailer on their official youtube channel.

Trials of The Dragon King is the first expansion for Stranger of Paradise and will include new content in the form of new jobs, weapons, accessories, and categories of equipment. It will be released on the 20th of July 2022. There will also be a new story that will see Jack fight against the iconic Warrior of Light.

I suppose they figured that fewer people would check the official website and they could have a little fun with the new announcement. Well, it gave me a good laugh so I can’t complain.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via The Epic Games Store, a rickroll from Rick Astley is available anywhere at any time, when you least expect it.
