Netmarble and Netmarble F&C have announced release dates for their free-to-play open-world action RPG, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. The game will launch on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on March 16, with iOS and Android versions following one week later on March 23.
The launch comes after a brief delay, which the development team says was used to improve the game’s quality. “The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will be returning in a stronger and more refined state,” the developers stated in their update. Console and PC players will get early access to the game, with mobile versions releasing shortly after.

The game is based on The Seven Deadly Sins manga series, which has sold over 55 million copies worldwide. It brings players into an open-world version of Britannia, the setting from the original anime.
Players will control Prince Tristan of the Kingdom of Liones in a new original story. The plot centers on restoring order to Britannia after a mysterious event causes time and space to collide. While the story is new, the game features fan-favorite characters from across the series alongside original heroes created specifically for this game.

The gameplay combines exploration and combat in an open-world environment. Players can build teams of heroes with different abilities to tackle monsters and discover secrets throughout Britannia. The game also includes peaceful activities like fishing, cooking, and exploring with allies. Hidden dungeons and rare treasures are scattered across the map for players to find. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will be available at no cost on all announced platforms when it launches next month.
