Gaming fans in Singapore can now get their hands on Nintendo’s newest console before its official release. The Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World Experience Event at Jewel Changi Airport is giving visitors a chance to try out the Nintendo Switch 2 ahead of its launch.
The pop-up event is located at Atrium B1 in Jewel Changi Airport, right across from the Zara store. It runs from June 20 to July 24, with daily operating hours from 10am to 10pm. Last admission is at 9:30pm.

Visitors can play two rounds of Mario Kart World, the flagship game for the new console. The gaming experience showcases improved visuals and more responsive controls compared to the original Switch. A standout feature is the new “Knockout Tour” mode, where 24 players compete on a circuit with the bottom four players eliminated at each checkpoint. Everyone who plays gets to keep a free Mario sun visor as a souvenir.
The event isn’t just for gaming. There’s also a retail section where people can:
- Pre-order the Nintendo Switch 2 (available from June 20 to 25)
- Buy games and accessories like controllers and cases
- Get a free tote bag when making a console pre-order or purchase
The console has already made waves globally since its June 5th launch, selling 3.5 million units in just four days and becoming Nintendo’s fastest-selling console in history. The event space features a modern setup with multiple Switch 2 consoles ready for play. The atmosphere is described as energetic, with bright and colorful displays that showcase the console’s improved screen quality.

Whether you’re a longtime Mario Kart fan or simply curious about Nintendo’s latest hardware, this Singapore event offers a rare opportunity to experience the Switch 2 before it hits store shelves across the region.
