Capcom announced exciting news for Monster Hunter Wilds players during the TGS 2025 Capcom Online Special Program with the game’s Title Update 3, featuring a collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV launching on September 29. The update brings Omega Planetes, a monster from Final Fantasy XIV, to the Forbidden Lands. Players can expect new FFXIV-themed weapons, armor, cosmetics, and actions as part of this collaboration. The fight against Omega Planetes will include several new mechanics that hunters will need to learn and use.
Along with the Final Fantasy XIV content in Monster Hunter Wilds, Title Update 3 introduces an Arch-Tempered version of Nu Udra, the tentacled monster. This stronger version will offer upgraded equipment for players who can defeat it. The update also includes the Festival of Accord: Dreamspell event planned for autumn, which will feature the Arch-Tempered Nu Udra and additional Event Quests.
Looking ahead, Capcom has revealed that Title Update 4 is scheduled for December 2025. This update will bring back Gogmazios, a giant Elder Dragon from previous Monster Hunter games. While details about this update remain limited, the return of this massive monster was shown during the livestream. Monster Hunter Wilds is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam. The Title Update 3 trailer showed off the new content coming with the Final Fantasy XIV collaboration.
