Kakao Games of South Korea previously announced in February 2018 that it will be developing a new MMORPG on its TERA IP. The game was to be worked on by Lantu Games, which is a subsidiary of China-based development studio Longtu Korea and LINE. Kakao Games today revealed the game in question will officially be known as TERA Classic.
TERA Classic is scheduled for launch in South Korea during the first half of 2019 and will be introducing a new story based on the original world setting. Solo and multiplayer gameplay contents are being considered during development. At this point in time, there is no information if the game will be out overseas.
