Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced the release date for Tales of Symphonia Remastered along with the release of the new trailer for the game.

The game is set to release on February 16^th, 2023 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Tales of Symphonia takes place where there are two opposing worlds yet are side by side, Sylvarant and Tethe’alla. A cruel fate governs them where one will prosper at the sacrifice of the other.

At present, Sylvarant is on a decline and a young girl, Collete is to embark on a journey to reincarnate as an “Angel” for the sake of their world. However, for Sylvarant to prosper, it would result in Tethe’alla to suffer. This is the story of Lloyd, who joins his childhood friend, Collete in their journey to save both worlds.

The Remastered version for Tales of Symphonia faithfully brings back the legends from 2003 into the current generation so everyone can experience the journey again, this time with improved graphics.

The game will also feature both of the opening themes used for the different versions of the game such as:

• Starry Heavens ver. 2013, the theme song used for its GameCube version
• Soshite Boku ni Dekiru Koto ver. 2013, the theme song used for its PlayStation 2 version
