Bandai Namco has just announced that its upcoming Tales game, Tales of Crestoria, will be making its way to the west in 2019. This mobile RPG for the Android and iOS platforms will feature a new story with a new cast of characters. Tales of Crestoria is being dubbed as an RPG written in blood and betrayal, with the tagline: Live. Even if it’s a sin.
It does sound like the game is taking a grittier direction, something which we last saw in Tales of Berseria. It would be interesting to see if that is the case here, as that is something still fairly uncommon in this long-standing franchise. Alongside the announced, Bandai Namco released a new visual for the game on the official homepage for the game.
Fans can also look forward to a livestream taking place on 14 December 2018, where the developer will be showing off more of the game while providing a solid release date or window.
