The previously announced Sword Art Online Last Recollection has just been released, alongside a new trailer.
Sword Art Online Last Recollection is out now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, with the Steam version of the game being available starting from October 6th, 2023.
The new trailer features some gameplay and in-game cutscenes, alongside original animation that features the cast of the original anime.
A new original character, Dorothy, a young Dark Knight dispatched from the Dark Territory as an envoy to the Human Realm who appears in a new guise, will also be making her debut in this title.
The game features a brand new story arc unique to the game, named War of Underworld, which features many different characters and sub-episodes that will portray a different setting from the source material and the anime.
Originally based on a novel by Reki Kawahara, Sword Art Online is an anime series that follows the adventures of Kirito within the next-generation Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game known as Sword Art Online.
A free demo of the game will also be available on all platforms the game is releasing on for players to try.
