Subway Surfers was the game that everyone has on their phones back in 2012. The subway-surfing boy that trespassing and committing vandalism on subway train stations has been entertaining even now. The game is still in stores and now at the end of 2017, we get news that Subway Surfers will be getting an animated series.
The series, scripted by Brent Friedman (who wrote Star Wars Rebels and The Clone Wars) and produced by Emmy award-winner Sander Schwartz (The Batman and Baby Looney Tunes) will be featuring the protagonist of the game, Jake in a 22-minute episode. We will be following the adventures of Jake, Tricky and Fresh across 10 4-minute episodes which is scheduled to come next Summer.
As many failures of movies or series that were adapted from comics or games failed in the past, we hope that this will not be as bad. For a kid’s show, it can’t be that bad, could it? You can check out their official page for more info.
