Twenty-five years after eight kids were transported to the Digital World, fans now have the chance to follow in their footsteps. The Digimon Adventure Anime 25th Anniversary Exhibition opened its doors on February 4, 2026, at INCUBASE Arena Malaysia in Fahrenheit88, running until March 23. The exhibition celebrates a quarter-century of the beloved anime series that introduced many to the Digital World.
The exhibition runs daily, with last entry allowed at 9:00pm. From the moment visitors approach the venue, they’re greeted by a large banner and poster, along with an evolution screen displaying eight iconic Digimon from the first season. Upon entry, attendees receive their admission ticket, a gift, premium merchandise, and a stamp paper to carry throughout their visit.

Before entering the main exhibition space, visitors pass through a merchandise area. The selection includes keychains, T-shirts, shoulder bags, plush dolls, and collectible figures. Digivices are also available, though some items like figures and Digivices require staff assistance to purchase. An exclusive photo booth is set up outside the exhibition, offering photos for RM25. Merchandise sales for the general public begin on March 7, giving ticket holders priority access.

The Exhibition Experience
The journey begins with Agumon welcoming visitors in his signature pose. A nearby wall showcases all eight Chosen Children from Season 1 alongside their partner Digimon, complete with character introductions. A franchise timeline traces the series’ history from Digimon Adventure: The Movie – The Birth of Koromon through to Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning.

One highlight is the display of all eight Digivices, including a transparent version of the standard Digivice. The exhibition then takes visitors through the complete narrative of Digimon Adventure 01, from Koromon’s first meeting with Taichi to major story moments like the phone booth scene, the battle with Devimon, SkullGreymon’s dark evolution, and the confrontations with Myotismon, the Four Dark Masters, and Apocalymon.
The farewell sequence plays on video, featuring memorable moments like Mimi’s hat flying into the air, though the absence of background music diminishes the emotional impact.
Throughout the space, displays feature partner Digimon, boss characters, enemy Digimon, the Crests, Kōshirō’s laptop, and a collection of anime line art and original production materials. The final area covers the broader Digimon franchise, showcasing content from the first movie to the 25th Anniversary Special PV, various Digivices, scripts from Digimon Adventure tri., and a statue of Omegamon that serves as a popular photo spot.
Worth the Visit?
The Digimon Adventure 25th Anniversary Exhibition offers a concentrated dose of nostalgia for fans who grew up with the original series. While some posters and text contain errors or inaccuracies that may catch the attention of longtime fans, the overall experience provides a comprehensive look back at Digimon Adventure’s history and impact. For those with fond memories of the Digital World, it’s a chance to revisit the series that started it all.
