Stellar Blade has reached a major sales milestone, with developer Shift Up announcing that the game has sold 3 million copies worldwide across PlayStation 5 and PC platforms. The big jump in sales came after the game’s PC release on June 2025. In just three days, Stellar Blade sold over 1 million copies on PC alone, an increase that pushed total sales from 2 million to 3 million units.

The PC version’s launch has been remarkably successful. Within the first 24 hours, the game hit over 100,000 concurrent players on Steam, making it only the second Sony-published game to reach this number after Helldivers 2. Players have also shown strong support, with 96% of the 8,500 Steam reviews being positive in the first day.
China has been a particularly strong market for the PC version, accounting for 58% of sales in that region. The game is also priced lower there compared to the $60 US price, which may have helped drive sales.

Stellar Blade first launched as a PlayStation 5 exclusive in April 2024. The PC version came with several new features, including additional Nano Suits, expanded language support for voiceover and facial animations, and a new boss fight.
Shift Up thanked fans for their continued support and expressed hope that players will keep following both Stellar Blade and their other game, NIKKE. The company has hinted at possible “platform expansion” in the future, though it’s unclear if this means the game might come to Xbox or Nintendo Switch 2.
