Valve has announced a price increase for the Steam Deck OLED, citing rising memory and storage costs. Along with the new pricing, both the 512GB and 1TB models are now back in stock. The 512GB model has gone up from $549 to $789 USD, while the 1TB model now costs $949 USD, up from $649. The price changes also apply across other regions and currencies:
Steam Deck OLED 512GB
- Previously: $549 USD / CAD 689 / EUR 549 / GBP 479
- Now: $789 USD / CAD 1,129 / EUR 779 / GBP 649 / AUD 1,199 / PLN 3,279
Steam Deck OLED 1TB
- Previously: $649 USD / CAD 819 / EUR 679 / GBP 569
- Now: $949 USD / CAD 1,349 / EUR 919 / GBP 779 / AUD 1,429 / PLN 3,879

In their official announcement, Valve clarified that the device itself has not changed in any way. The company stated that the new price for the Steam Deck OLED reflects the current state of component costs and other global logistical challenges across the industry. For those looking for a lower-cost option, Valve certified refurbished units are still available, including the older LCD model, at cheaper price points through the Steam store.
