Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on December 4

SEGA has officially announced that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will release digitally on December 4, 2025, for $69.99/RM335. A physical edition that includes the complete base game on cartridge will follow in early 2026.

This upcoming release brings the high-speed world of Sonic to Nintendo’s next-generation hardware. Players can expect enhanced visuals, smoother frame rates, and shorter load times, all thanks to the Nintendo Switch 2’s improved performance. These upgrades aim to make every race more responsive and immersive.

Affordable Upgrade Path for Current Owners

For those who already own the Nintendo Switch version, SEGA offers a convenient Upgrade Pack for $10/ RM48. This lets existing players experience all the new enhancements without buying the full game again.

To make the deal even better, SEGA is offering a 50% discount on the upgrade until December 10. That means fans can upgrade for only $5/RM24 during the promotion period. This move rewards loyal players while encouraging them to continue their journey on the new console.

Free Bonus for Early Buyers

In addition, players who purchase the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition before December 17 will receive the “Werehog Pack” DLC for free. The bonus pack features exclusive customization items inspired by Sonic Unleashed’s Werehog form. It’s a fun nod to Sonic history and a great incentive for early adopters.
