While details regarding the game’s genre, story, and gameplay mechanics have yet to be revealed, a teaser trailer has been released to give fans a first glimpse into the project’s tone and aesthetic as well as a newly launched teaser website, which hints at the mysterious and potentially genre-blending nature of the title.

Too Kyo Games was founded in 2017 by Kazutaka Kodaka to create original games tied to his dark and twisty storytelling. The studio has released several games like World’s End Club and Master Detective Archives: Rain Code and the latest release of The Hundred Line -Last Academy-.
Additionally, Too Kyo Games and Akatsuki Games have recently announced that its mobile title Tribe Nine will be shutting down this coming November, due to shortcomings in various aspects of the game. In light of this, the reveal of Shuten Kyodan has been met with both excitement and concern, as fans are eager to see what direction the new project will take, and whether it can avoid the pitfalls of its predecessor.
