Worlds Beyond introduces several new mechanics to enhance the Shadowverse experience. Super-Evolution gives players two super-evolution points per match, allowing followers of any rarity to gain Rush, +3 attack/defense, and immunity to damage during their controller’s turn. Super-evolved followers also activate both Evolve and Super-Evolve abilities, with destroyed enemies dealing 1 damage to the enemy leader.

Eight characters have been revealed, including craft leaders and a guide: Dreizehn (Portalcraft), Lovesign (Forestcraft), Marie Malisse (Swordcraft), Kaori Yuihara (Runecraft), Galan (Dragoncraft), Diawl (Abysscraft), Esperanza (Havencraft), and Eudie (Guide). Each character features voice acting in both Japanese and English.
From launch until August, new sets will arrive every month to month and a half, then shift to a bimonthly schedule. Daily rewards include a free card pack every day and up to 10 packs with each new set release. Every 10 purchased packs will include a guaranteed Legendary card. New players will receive a prebuilt deck after completing beginner missions.

The Shadowverse World Championship has been revamped as the Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2025, with previously qualified contenders automatically qualifying for the new format. Additionally, the physical card game Shadowverse: Evolve will incorporate Worlds Beyond content, with the Japanese edition launching on July 11 featuring the super-evolution mechanic.
