Red Bull Japan has announced two new virtual ambassadors from Hololive, as well as a lucky draw to meet the Vtubers by buying comemmorative cans of the energy drink.

Hololive 2nd Generation Minato Aqua and 5th Generation Shishiro Botan will both be Virtual Ambassadors for Red Bull Japan, featuring new Red Bull-branded stream overlays going forward as well as promotional art by professional illustrator Ttomarii.

Drinking Red Bull To Meet Hololive

To welcome the new ambassadors, Red Bull Japan is having a special campaign, wherein you can receive limited edition stickers of the collaboration by buying Redbull through Amazon.

The offer is only applicable to those who purchase the Red Bull Purple Edition 24-crate, and buying the product entitles you to possibly meet Aqua and Botan and the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in Tokyo.

Due to the popularity of the product, Red Bull Japan has also announced they’re doing a second batch of preorders for the Purple Edition, which will kick off on the 10th of June.

Hololive Brand Collaborations

As Hololive only grows in popularity, it’s no surprise that so are their brand collaborations. Previously, we reported that Shishiro Botan was doing sponsored streams for Xbox as part of Microsoft’s attempts to expand their reach in the Japanese market. She had also co-presented a No More Heroes stream, and was also part of the Family Mart collaboration with the rest of the fifth generation.

Redbull explained the rationale for picking Aqua and Botan, citing Botan’s elite gaming skills as the reason for her selection. Meanwhile Aqua had also been selected for her near-religious consumption of Redbull. The Vtuber admits that she often uses the drink for her “endurance streams’ , giving her energy to keep going.
