Q-Games’ latest PixelJunk entry, Dreams of Another, is now out worldwide for PS5, PS VR2, and PC via Steam. Directed by multimedia artist Baiyon, the game dives into surreal storytelling and experimental gameplay inspired by dreams, memory, and creation.
A Dreamlike Journey Through Two Minds
The story follows two protagonists — The Man in Pajamas and The Wandering Soldier. As players explore their dreams and regrets, they encounter strange characters and mysterious objects that challenge perception. Weapons are used not to destroy, but to create, flipping the traditional role of combat on its head.

The newly released launch trailer teases this dreamlike world, blending poetic visuals with Baiyon’s haunting soundtrack that guides players deeper into the subconscious.
Award-Winning Visual Art and Design

Already celebrated globally, Dreams of Another has received awards for Best Visual Art and Visual Design. Its distinct point cloud rendering technology gives the game a unique, ethereal aesthetic — a signature innovation from Q-Games’ creative team.
PixelJunk Eden 2 Joins the Launch
Alongside the release, Q-Games has also launched PixelJunk Eden 2 on PS4, PS5, and Steam. Directed by Baiyon as well, the game lets players leap, grow, and collect Spectra in vibrant evolving gardens.

For fans looking to experience both titles, a special discounted bundle — Dreams of Another + PixelJunk Eden 2 — is available now on PlayStation and Steam. The bundle includes both games and a set of five exclusive avatars.
An Experience Built on Creation, Not Destruction
Dreams of Another explores the theme “No Creation Without Destruction.” Rather than erasing, each shot materializes parts of the world. This fresh mechanic turns traditional shooting conventions into something philosophical — creation through chaos.

The game also includes VR support, allowing players to experience its world in full 3D space using PS VR2, while PS5 Pro enhances visuals with high-resolution rendering.
The Sound of Dreams
Baiyon also composed the game’s soundtrack, an uncommon feat for a director. The featured single, “A Farewell Redrawn”, is now available on all major streaming platforms.

The piece, inspired by a nostalgic piano drifting from an empty school music room, captures the game’s ethereal tone. The track’s cover art, hand-drawn by Baiyon himself, adds a personal touch to the release, uniting his work across art, story, and sound.
About Baiyon
Kyoto-based artist Baiyon is known for blending sound, art, and design across multiple media. His work includes PixelJunk Eden, PixelJunk 4am, and contributions to LittleBigPlanet 2.

A respected DJ and creative director, Baiyon’s fusion of music and visual design has earned international recognition and multiple industry awards. He continues to innovate under Q-Games, shaping distinctive artistic experiences that merge philosophy, aesthetics, and interactivity.
Where to Play and Stay Connected
Dreams of Another is available now for PS5, PS VR2, and Steam (PC). The Dreams of Another + PixelJunk Eden 2 Special Bundle offers the best value for fans wanting the full Baiyon experience.
