PokéPark KANTO officially opens on February 5, 2026, inside Yomiuriland amusement park. The park covers 2.6 hectares across Tokyo’s Inagi City and Kawasaki. Pokémon fans are about to get a new dream destination in Tokyo.
Developed through a collaboration between Yomiuri Land Co., The Yomiuri Shimbun, and The Pokémon Company, this will be Japan’s first permanent outdoor Pokémon park. Moreover, ticket applications will open on November 21, 2025, through the official PokéPark KANTO website, while the lottery will close on December 8, 2025. Winners, meanwhile, will receive notifications by late December.
Explore Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town

PokéPark KANTO features two main areas which are Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town, each designed to offer unique experiences and attractions. In Pokémon Forest, guests follow a 500-meter trail through lush greenery, tunnels, and meadows nestled in the Tama Hills.

Along the way, more than 600 Pokémon will appear, including Pikachu, Eevee, Rhyhorn, and Sudowoodo. Visitors can observe their movements, take photos, and even enjoy select rides on certain Pokémon. Additionally, the natural landscape adds a refreshing sense of adventure and exploration.

On the other hand, Sedge Town brings the lively Pokémon world to life through shows, rides, and parades. The town features two major attractions: Pika Pika Paradise, a performance starring Pikachu and friends, and Vee Vee Voyage, a merry-go-round featuring Eevee and its evolutions.

Furthermore, guests can shop for exclusive merchandise, themed snacks, and drinks or rest inside the in-park Pokémon Center. Daily meet-and-greet sessions also allow visitors to take photos with different Pokémon, led by Pikachu and Eevee in colorful parades.
Ticket Options and Availability
Visitors can choose between two main ticket types. The Trainer’s Pass, starting at ¥7,900/M 215 for guests aged 13 and above, grants entry to both Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town. Meanwhile, the Ace Trainer’s Pass, starting at ¥14,000/RM 381, provides unlimited access to Pokémon Forest and one-time entry to all Sedge Town attractions. Both ticket types also include general admission to Yomiuriland.

However, because the terrain includes steep slopes, Pokémon Forest entry is limited to visitors aged five and above who can climb at least 110 steps. A Town Pass, offering access only to Sedge Town, will become available later. Ticket applications for visits between February 5 and March 31, 2026, will be open from November 21 to December 8, 2025. Afterward, lottery results will be announced in late December.
Plan Your Visit

Overall, PokéPark KANTO promises an unforgettable adventure for Pokémon fans of all ages. With its beautiful outdoor setting, engaging attractions, and nostalgic charm, it combines nature exploration with the excitement of the Pokémon universe.
