POCO Introduces POCO X8 Pro Series, Pushing Next-Gen Performance to the Max

POCO, a leading technology brand popular among young tech enthusiasts, has unveiled the new POCO X8 Pro Series, including the POCO X8 Pro Max, POCO X8 Pro, and the exclusive POCO X8 Pro – Iron Man Edition. The launch marks the shift from the X Series to the X Pro Series, offering flagship performance, long-lasting endurance, premium design, and a next-gen experience that pushes the limits of performance smartphones.

The POCO X8 Pro sees a 15.8% increase in AnTuTu score3 compared to its predecessor with the Dimensity 8500-Ultra Mobile Platform, delivering 25% better GPU performance4 and lower power consumption. Both models support hardware-level ray tracing5, enhancing gaming visuals with realistic lighting and reflections.

The series also integrates WildBoost Optimization, predicting per-frame computing demand to prevent frame drops. Features like Smart Frame Rate7, 1.5K Super Resolution8, 24x Super Resolution Touch9, and Game HDR10 deliver smoother gameplay, finer details, and richer graphics.

Cooling performance is handled by LiquidCool Technology, with POCO X8 Pro Max featuring a 3D IceLoop Cooling System over 5,800mm², reducing SoC temperature by up to 3°C11, while POCO X8 Pro uses a 5,300mm² dual-layer IceLoop system for stable peak performance.

Battery life is another standout feature. POCO X8 Pro Max comes with 8,500mAh, supporting 2-day battery life13, and retains over 80% capacity even after 1,600 charge cycles14. POCO X8 Pro offers 6,500mAh, combining durability and compact design.

100W HyperCharge15 and 27W reverse charging16 ensure rapid charging across the lineup, while Smart Charging17 manages temperature and power distribution for safe and stable charging.

Both devices feature large, bright displays with peak brightness of 3,500 nits18, and flagship M10 panels with red luminous material, improving efficiency. POCO X8 Pro Max has a 6.83-inch display, POCO X8 Pro has 6.59 inches, both supporting 3840Hz PWM dimming and TÜV Rheinland eye-care certifications. The POCO X8 Pro Max also has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking.

Audio features include dual 1115F symmetrical20 speakers with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos®, with customizable volume boosts21 and low-volume Night mode22.

POCO X8 Pro Series combines metal frame and fiberglass back for premium handfeel. POCO X8 Pro Series runs Xiaomi HyperOS 327, supporting HyperConnect28, HyperIsland29, Google Gemini31, and Circle to Search32. POCO x Marvel: Ultimate Armor, Stronger Power

The POCO X8 Pro – Iron Man Edition showcases a black-and-gold design inspired by Stark Industries’ armor. The device features a custom Iron Man-themed UI and Arc Reactor design, combining performance with bold aesthetics.
