Palworld developer Pocketpair has filed a new trademark for “Palworld Online” in both the United States and South Korea, according to recent filings dated April 24 and April 27, 2026.
The trademark includes a logo and appears to reference a new branding direction for the popular survival title, which already features online multiplayer functionality across its existing versions on PC and consoles.
Palworld Online Trademark Filed in Multiple Regions

The “Palworld Online” trademark was officially filed in South Korea on April 24, followed by a United States filing on April 27. While Pocketpair has not made any public announcement regarding the trademark, the filings have sparked speculation about its purpose and potential connection to future updates.
At present, Palworld already supports online multiplayer features, including four-player cooperative gameplay in private sessions and larger 32-player dedicated servers.
Possible Link to Version 1.0 Release

Although no official details have been confirmed, the trademark may be linked to the game’s upcoming version 1.0 release, which is scheduled for 2026. It is currently unclear whether “Palworld Online” will represent a rebranding of existing multiplayer features or a new expanded online service.
One possibility is that the name could serve as a formal label for Palworld’s multiplayer ecosystem, similar in structure to long-running online game services such as Grand Theft Auto Online.
Mobile Version and Ongoing Development

A separate mobile version of Palworld is also in development by KRAFTON and PUBG Studios, though that project is officially titled Palworld Mobile and is unrelated to the newly filed trademark.
Pocketpair has not confirmed whether the Palworld Online trademark is connected to mobile development or other upcoming platform expansions.
Palworld’s Ongoing Expansion
Palworld first launched in Early Access on January 19, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, followed by a PlayStation 5 release on September 24, 2024.
Since launch, the game has continued to expand its multiplayer systems and content updates, with version 1.0 expected to further define its long-term structure.
As of now, Pocketpair has not provided additional clarification on the “Palworld Online” trademark or its intended use.
