Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the Hyperpop Collection, a new line of DualSense wireless controllers and PS5 console covers launching on March 12, 2026.
The Hyperpop collection introduces three eye-catching designs: Techno Red, Rhythm Blue, and Remix Green. Each design features a gradient that transitions from glossy black to bright neon colors, offering a fresh look for gaming setups. According to Leo Cardoso from Sony’s Color, Material, and Finish design team, the collection draws inspiration from RGB lighting commonly found in gaming rigs. “We’re cranking the volume all the way up with a collection that doesn’t just stand out, it takes over the room,” Cardoso explained.
Design team member Sae Kobayashi highlighted the technical aspects, noting that a seamless gradient wraps around both the front and back of the DualSense controllers, finished with a high-gloss coating to enhance the color intensity. The console covers feature the same gradient treatment with a subtle transparent finish.
The Hyperpop DualSense wireless controllers will retail for MYR 419. The matching PS5 console covers, compatible with the PlayStation 5 Console (slim model), will be available in limited quantities for MYR 369. The collection will be available starting March 12, 2026.
