Combining the fast and frantics gameplay of shmups and puzzle game Super Hexagon, Pigeon Wings is shaping up to be a rather interesting experience. The game is due for a release for the iOS and Apple TV, and in it, you have to navigate through tight gauntlets of hazards and obstacles as a pigeon piloting a plane.
You have very little margin for error, as you will have to rely on your reflexes and reaction in guiding your bird pilot through the course. As if flying through the map isn’t difficult enough, you will also need to engage in bullet hell dogfights at high speeds while dodging incoming fighter. Concentration here is key.
As mentioned earlier, Pigeon Wings is currently being developed for the iOS platform and Apple TV, where it is scheduled for a release sometime in 2017.
