The Japanese style MOBA game based on Onmyoji universe, Onmyoji Arena is launched in Asia countries back in last April, and now it is finally going global! Featuring the beautiful Japanese style visuals and the original cast of Japanese voice artists from Onmyoji, Onmyoji Arena allows players to battle on a three-lane map using the characters from Onmyoji universe. Characters are categorised into several classes including Marksman and Assassin, every character comes with 4 unique abilities too.
The rune system is one of the most common features in MOBA games, but Onmyoji Arena replaces it with the “Onmyodo” where players can match it freely according to their strategy. There is no payment (P2W) system included as well to ensure a truly fair competition.
The game also features a new 3 v 3 v 3 free-for-all mode. On the “Royal Battle” map, players will be divided into 3 teams with 3 players per team, and fight to be the first team to seal 30 Shikigamis. Along with the global launch, the game will be getting a new “Encounter Demons” mode and here is a preview of it:

Powered-up Mage-type Shikigami:- Ootengu’s “Blade Storm” will now cast three 3-second Blade Storms in the designated area, which all moves in separate directions.- Hangan can absorb an unlimited number of souls.- Kiyohime’s “Serpent’s Shackle” can simultaneously link up to 3 targets within range.- When Aoandon uses “Ghost Story Lantern”, enemies within range when summoning the lantern will be stunned for 1 second.- Susabi’s “Stellar Justice” can hit the same enemy for unlimited times, while the falling speed of the asteroids is also increased.- When Momiji retrieves the “Maple Note”, the cooldown time of the ability will be reset.- Yuki Onna’s “Marshmallow” will have an increased range and damage.- Enenra’s can release three “Naughty Spirit” at the same time, with the cooldown time also reduced.- Kingyo’s “Goldfish Sentinel” can attack up to 5 targets at once.- The soul-sapping banner summoned by Shiro Mujou’s “Hands of Hell” can exist indefinitely, in exchange for constantly draining Shiro Mujou’s MP.*Demon Encounter is expected to be implemented after the update on July 13th.
