Publisher Nintendo and developer Monolith Soft have announced Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch, set to launch worldwide on March 20, 2025, for $59.99. Notably, this remastered version of the 2015 Wii U game features enhanced visuals, additional story elements, and more.
Eager Xenoblade fans can pre-order the game now on the Switch eShop or the My Nintendo store, and a physical release will also be available. Players assume the role of a customizable avatar, a member of an elite task force known as BLADE. As a BLADE operative, your mission involves exploring Mira’s vast landscapes, locating missing White Whale escape pods, and recovering the Lifehold, a vital ship component housing the rest of the human population in stasis. Additionally, players will pilot Skells, advanced robots that can fly and transform for efficient travel.
