Nexon has officially confirmed that its upcoming game, Project RX, will be coming to consoles. The announcement was made during an earnings briefing held on May 14, as reported by Korean games media outlet Inven. Prior to this, the game was only confirmed for PC and mobile platforms.
Project RX is being developed by Nexon’s IO Division, the team led by Min-Seo Cha, who is best known as the lead behind Blue Archive. Details about the game are still limited, but what has been shared points to an immersive 3D experience built around a slice-of-life “isekai” concept, where players live alongside a cast of anime-style characters.
A teaser released in December 2024 gave viewers a first look at the game’s 3D character models and everyday domestic scenes. The teaser also briefly showed fantasy elements and what appear to be skill cutscenes, pointing to some form of combat being part of the game as well.
Project RX is built on Unreal Engine 5, and Nexon has reportedly doubled the size of the development team compared to what worked on Blue Archive, signaling a larger production effort. The game is also not an open-world title, despite its growing scope.

No release window has been given at this time. For updates directly from the development team, the IO Division maintains an official X account and a YouTube channel where future announcements are expected to be shared.
