Via firesanctuary, Saito Yosuke, Yoko Taro and Taura Takahisa were with others discussing topics on the gaming industry on V Jump/Famitsu’s “idobata kaigi“. There was talk about Dragon Quest XI, and Taura plugging his new game Astral Chain. Two girls from Saito’s idol group GEMSCOMPANY were also present off camera.
The tease about Yoko Taro’s game came towards the last few minutes, during the Premium segment of the broadcast. Saito had suddenly brought up the topic, and while Yoko wasn’t able to say anything conclusive, it seemed that the next “idobata kaigi“, or at least, at an upcoming event, could have the juicy details.
It’s not particularly surprising that Yoko Taro would be working on a new game, but it is exciting that an announcement could be coming soon. Both Yoko Taro and Taura Takahisa will be at Animangaki 2019 this weekend. Will you be attending?
