Riot Games Senior Narrative Designer Katie Chironis tweeted out employment opportunities for a “cool game” that is “not League”. The positions wanted by the company include Senior VFX Artist, Senior Lightning Artist, and Lead Concept Artist.
Upon reading the job posting themselves, it would seem that Riot Games have actually new more titles in the pipeline. Of course, as to what these games are, we can only really speculate. What we do know is that fans of League of Legends have been yearning for an MMO-esque game set in the same universe which would hopefully expand upon the lore and allow players to visit some of the key locations featured in the MOBA.
With the rise of the Battle Royale genre and League’s rich universe and large cast, we would not be too surprised if Riot Games come up with their own attempt.
