Bandai Namco has released a brand-new DigiRide Trailer for Digimon Story: Time Stranger, showcasing a thrilling way to explore the Digital World. The latest footage highlights the ability to ride certain Digimon across land, sea, and sky, adding a fresh dimension to traversal and adventure.

Rideable Digimon Featured in the DigiRide Trailer

The DigiRide system allows players to explore on the backs of iconic Digimon, each offering unique movement styles and combat advantages. Here are some of the ridable Digimon showcased in the trailer.

Land Rides include Garurumon, a swift wolf-like Champion known for its loyalty, and Growlmon, a fierce dinosaur-like Digimon with fiery attacks. Gankoomon, a mechanical humanoid, delivers immense strength, while Beelzemon brings unmatched speed and firepower.

Aerial Rides feature Pegasusmon, a majestic winged horse that soars through the skies, and Halsemon, a hawk-like Digimon with sharp vision and agility. Peckmon, a nimble bird Digimon, darts swiftly between obstacles.

Aquatic and Heavy Rides showcase Whamon, a massive whale-like Digimon gliding through the seas. Mekanorimon, a heavily armored Machine Digimon, bulldozes through even the roughest terrain. There are many more rideable Digimon waiting to be discovered in the full game.

A Time-Traveling Adventure Across Two Worlds

Digimon Story: Time Stranger follows the journey of an ADAMAS agent, part of a secret organization that investigates paranormal phenomena. Players will travel between the human world and Iliad, the Digital World, to stop its mysterious collapse. The story blends time travel with themes of friendship, loyalty, and bonds that transcend worlds.

The game is a training RPG that combines exploration, strategic battles, and Digimon training. Players will form teams, travel across varied landscapes, and uncover secrets hidden in both worlds.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam on October 2, 2025. The Steam version will release on October 3.
