Monster Rancher’s Suezo Will Be The Next Character in Super Monkey Ball

It seems the reign of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania and its guest characters will never end, the latest character to be caged in a tiny spherical plastic prison will be Suezo from the Monster Rancher series.

The little yellow cyclops will be appearing as paid DLC for $4.99 that will release on October 19th.

This eye-catching creature is the mascot of the Monster Rancher series. He can be seen collecting CDs throughout the Monkey Ball course. This is a reference to the original PlayStation Monster Rancher games where you could acquire new Monsters by inserting different CDs into the console.

This crossover is likely part of a promotion for the upcoming Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX coming to Switch, Mobile, and PC on December 9th.

Suezo will be joining quite the cavalcade of other guests characters that are appearing in Super Monkey Ball outside of the usual Monkeys. These include Sonic The Hedgehog, Tails, Beat from Jet Set Radio, Kazuma Kiryu from the Yakuza Series, Morgana from Persona 5, and Hello Kitty from Hello Kitty.

What seems to have started as a mini Sega all-stars seem to have turned into quite the grab bag of anyone who wants to join.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania will be available for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and will release on October 5th. Suezo will be available on the 16th.
