Monster Hunter Wilds is set to expand its event quest lineup with exciting new challenges through event quests arriving this May. These event quests will provide hunters with unique rewards ranging from exclusive armor pieces to special cooking ingredients.

Current Event Quests (Available May 7 to 14)

Hunters can currently tackle three different event quests, each with their own unique rewards:

“Tongue-Tied” – This 5★ quest tasks hunters with taking down a Tempered Chatacabra in the Windward Plains. Completion rewards include Hard Armor Spheres and Advanced Armor Spheres—essential items for those looking to maximize their armor’s defensive capabilities. This quest requires HR 21 or higher.

“Anguish and Atrocity” – Another 5★ quest, this challenge sends hunters to the Ruins of Wyveria to hunt a Guardian Doshaguma. Designed specifically for Hunter Rank progression, this quest offers substantial HR points upon completion. Hunters must be HR 21 or higher to participate.

“The Shining Storm Rages” – This 8★ Free Challenge Quest stands as the toughest current offering, pitting hunters against an Arch-tempered Rey Dau in the Windward Plains. With HR 50 required to participate, this quest challenges experienced hunters to race against the clock using any equipment of their choice. Participants will earn an exclusive pendant, though distribution will occur at a later date. Unlike the other quests, this one will remain available until May 21.

Upcoming Event Quests (Available May 14 to 21)

The following week brings new opportunities with these quests:

“Ballet in the Rain” – A 5★ quest in the Scarlet Forest where hunters must defeat a Tempered Lala Barina. Rewards include Glowing Orb – Swords, decorations for customizing weapon skills. HR 21 or higher required.

“Sand-Scarred Soul” – In this 5★ quest, hunters will face a standard Doshaguma in the Windward Plains. Completion rewards include Glowing Orb – Armors for enhancing armor skills. This quest has a lower entry requirement of HR 9.

Further Upcoming Content (May 21 to 28)

Looking further ahead, three new quests will become available starting May 21:

“Running Wild” – This 5★ quest sends hunters to the Ruins of Wyveria to hunt a Guardian Fulgur Anjanath. Completing this quest rewards special materials and the coveted Sealed Dragon Cloth α headgear. HR 21 or higher required. Available until June 4.

“Romping Around” – A 4★ quest featuring a Rompopolo hunt in the Oilwell Basin. Rewards include Mud Shrimp, which can be used as ingredients when cooking on the BBQ Grill. HR 9 required.

“Peak Nerscylla” – Another 4★ quest taking place in the Iceshard Cliffs. Hunters must defeat a Nerscylla to earn Fluffy Eggs—another special BBQ Grill cooking ingredient. HR 9 required.

These event quests in Monster Hunter Wilds will provide hunters with strategic opportunities to gather specialized materials and enhance their equipment while facing increasingly challenging monsters.
