After several collaborations, Monster Hunter Rise is finally getting a promised massive expansion in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak! Only a short teaser showing a red dragon was really previewed, but at the very least, we know it’s coming soon in Summer 2022. From the scale of things, it sounds like it’s similar in scope to World‘s Iceborne expansion, with new hunting actions also teased.
Fans have been grumbling about a perceived “lack of updates” for a while now, and they’ll have longer yet to wait before the expansion actually comes out. Nothing more but to look forward to it, as we stay tuned for updates closer to the following year. See the teaser below:
