Maplus+Kanojo to launch in September 2018

Game developer and Edia and media company Kodansha are working together to launch a mobile dating simulator going by the same Maplus+Kanojo, which is scheduled to launch in September 2018.

Maplus+Kanojo is a location-based dating sim developed by Edia and is written by Kodansha, featuring illustrations from Kyoto Animation’s Horiguchi Yukiko. The gameplay comprises the usual visual novel-styled story-telling and dating events which involves players running around places in real life to trigger events and collect items.

Players take the role of a university student and assistant to a scientist. A mysterious disease has spread throughout Japan. The three heroines are also patients who are unable to process a massive amount of information and run the risk of going into coma. It will be up to you to save them by collecting memory fragments to keep them from succumbing to the disease.
