Square Enix announced that their 30 year old game King’s Knight: Wrath of the Dark Dragon has gotten revamped and is about to release later this year.
The King’s Knight is game developed by Square Enix launched back in 1986, predating even the Final Fantasy series, and it celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2016.
The new title, King’s Knight: Wrath of the Dark Dragon is an action shooter RPG set in the Final Fantasy XV universe, but with a completely new story and world, and a multiplayer mode where you can team up with 3 other players.
The game will be free-to-play when it launches later this year. If you picked up Final Fantasy XV on PS4, you’ll see Noctis and friends playing this game on their phones occasionally.
