Gaming Factory S.A. announces a new collaboration between JDM: Japanese Drift Master and Hyundai Motor. As part of this partnership, the INSTEROID, a futuristic electric concept car, joins the game. Additionally, players can experience it first at the Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo, where Hyundai has a dedicated booth.

INSTEROID Joins the JDM Roster

The INSTEROID combines high-performance drifting with a futuristic design. Its acceleration and handling change how players navigate touge routes and race tracks. Furthermore, it expands JDM’s roster of classic and modern drift cars, offering fresh gameplay strategies. This new addition is sure to excite both competitive and casual players.

New Side Mission Campaign

A four-race side mission campaign accompanies the INSTEROID. Players compete against Hyundai cars, including the INSTER and IONIQ 5, in touge races, a time attack, and a drag race. Completing all four races unlocks the INSTEROID for the player’s garage.

The first race unlocks after finishing Chapter 01, Mission 06 of the main story. Then, players can access it in the open world via Points of Interest. The update is free and available starting October 30, 2025.

First Play at Japan Mobility Show

From October 30 to November 09, 2025, attendees of the Japan Mobility Show can try the INSTEROID in JDM. Moreover, Hyundai has set up a dedicated gaming space for side missions. This gives players an exclusive first look at the new vehicle.
