An ordinary monkey somehow transformed into Hit-Monkey, and he’s joining the lineup of Marvel Contest of Champions! Hit-Monkey’s tribe gave sanctuary to an on-the-run assassin, but mercenaries arrived to kill both the assassin, and the rest of Hit-Monkey’s tribe. Picking up the fallen assassin’s weapons and swearing vengeance on all those responsible, including those who call themselves mercenaries, Hit-Monkey is out for blood.

Hit-Monkey in Marvel Contest of Champions is a versatile assassin, capable of quickly eliminating his targets while bypassing their defenses. The nunchaku he uses for his basic attacks are guaranteed to be Critical Hits, and landing three Critical Hits in a row enables him to switch into one of two combat modes. The first, Assassin’s Cunning, lets him strike evasive Opponents and improves his Bleed damage. The second, Primal Rage, lets him ignore enemy Armor and Resistance, and lets him inflict Distorient. Choose the right mode for the right enemy, and show them who the real superior simian is!

Marvel Contest of Champions is by Kabam, who is also in-charge of the similarly named but unrelated Marvel Realm of Champions, as well as Disney Mirrorverse, neither of which has seen an official launch yet, if you were curious about their more recent, upcoming projects.
