Natsume has revealed that Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home Special Edition is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam in 2025. The farming simulation game originally launched on mobile devices for iOS and Android in August 2024.
The Special Edition brings several new features not found in the mobile version. Players will get access to the Hoverbike 5000, a hover scooter that helps you move around the village faster. There’s also the Cleanmeister Autovac, which automatically cleans your barn so you don’t have to do it yourself.

Two new characters join the game as marriage options: Ella, an artist looking for creative inspiration, and Dr. Nikolai, who studies the healing powers of the Harvest Goddess Spring. Both characters appeared in the previous game, Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos. The Special Edition also includes new cutscenes that weren’t in the mobile release.
“Players have been eager for Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home to come to consoles and PC, so we are happy to announce Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home Special Edition,” said Natsume president and CEO Hiro Maekawa. He mentioned that the new edition features more inventions from Doc Jr., who now lives permanently in Alba Village.

The game includes the usual Harvest Moon activities like growing crops, caring for livestock, and building relationships with other villagers. You can participate in festivals and contests while working to restore Alba Village to its former glory. The mobile version is still available on the App Store and Google Play for those who want to try it before the console and PC versions arrive next year.
