[GUIDE] Where Winds Meet Hexi — Lost Crossing Exploration, Anecdote and Chests Guide

If you are exploring the Hexi region in Where Winds Meet, Lost Crossing is one of the earliest areas where players can begin tracking down collectibles. Compared to some of the later zones, this location is the most relatively troublesome, but is the first area players will encounter to find the numerous NPCs or opening chests scattered throughout the settlement.

This guide focuses specifically on the collectibles found in Lost Crossing. Most of the steps are simple, and the majority of entries involve interacting with a specific character. If an NPC does not appear or cannot be interacted with, try adjusting the in-game time to the recommended period listed in brackets, as some events only trigger during certain hours.

The Lost Crossing collectible list is divided into three categories: Exploration, Experience Anecdotes, and Chests.

For the fifth exploration collectible, players need to do a few extra steps to complete. This involves attacking the Untuk Raptor, while also making sure to be triggering the Bandit’s aggro. The last step is simpler, as players just need to eliminate all the enemies around.

Experience Anecdote Location

Experience Anecdotes are usually obtained by speaking to specific NPCs throughout Lost Crossing. However, some of these characters only appear at certain times of the day.

If you cannot locate the NPC, cannot interact with them, or the anecdote does not trigger after speaking to them, try adjusting the in-game time to the recommended time shown in brackets next to the entry.

Once the correct conditions are met, simply talk to the character to unlock the anecdote.

Lost Crossing Chests

Lost Crossing also contains several chests hidden around the area. Most of them are located in easy-to-spot positions near buildings, pathways, or small exploration corners.

Simply approach the chest and interact with it to open it and claim the rewards. Be sure to check elevated platforms, corners of the settlement, and areas slightly off the main path, as some chests are placed just outside the most obvious routes.
