Genshin Impact gets you to show off your photography with the Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens event.

STARTING THE QUEST

You’ll need to kick it off with the titular world quest, meeting Asagiri at Inazuma City. She’ll ask you to go to several locations to help her get inspiration for her illustrations.

OUTSIDE THE CANVAS, INSIDE THE LENS

Once you arrive at the respective locations, you’ll need to equip the Kamera gadget and interact with the photography spot.

Then, you’ll need to match the pre-requisites, like keeping the circles in view. For skill uses, as an example, as long as you photograph the moment you hit the skill button, it will meet the requirements. You DO NOT need to capture the actual skill in the frame.

Once the photography session begins, you can move further away from the spot. Especially vital in this case as Elemental Bursts often change your camera angle and can cover up the photo point.
