As fans are about to relive the memorable moments in Square Enix’s latest mobile venture, Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, many may wonder which character reigns supreme in strength and utility.

Here we have a character tier list that ranks each hero’s strength, so you can select one to breeze through both classic and new stories within the Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis.

Do note the tier list is based on early impressions and that a character’s placement and strength may differ in the future when more content drops.

S		Amazing healer who can also deal decent magic damage. Her Healing Wind limit break can easily turn the tide of battle against tough encounters.
	Aerith Gainsborough
		Do you think Mr. Protagonist isn’t going to be good? Extremely strong DPS with many great weapon choices, solid for dominating bosses.
	Cloud Strife
A		Amazing physical magical hybrid DPS with the capability to debuff enemy damage while also being able to cleanse herself of ailments.
	Tifa Lockheart
		One of the new faces in Ever Crisis and surprisingly a great DPS while also having many utilities like heals and debuffs.
	Matt Winsord
		A long-range damage dealer with AoE attacks and high HP, great for wave clear.
	Barret Wallace
		A great DPS with an AoE Elemental ability that scales based on his physical stats. An amazing option for battling against a single boss.
	Zack Fair
B		Able to equip with weapons that grant high physical damage and a great unit for wave clears.
	Glenn Lodbrock
		An amazing support that heals allies through health regeneration and has great AoE magical damage potential.
	Red XIII
		A sharpshooter and the only unit who can Silence enemies and deal single-target Water damage.
	Lucia Lin

Unlike other gacha games, you do not pull for characters in Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, instead you unlock them as you play the game but roll for a chance to obtain different weapons.
