In its November monthly game update, Granblue Fantasy has announced a Doraemon collaboration event in December. Of course, the news update does come with other announcements for the game itself, but apparently the recently concluded Gintama collab wasn’t “outlandish” enough. Only the silhouette of the character has been revealed, seen below.

As usual, players should be able to expect Doraemon to be an SSR character, presumably accompanied by Nobita who must have somehow isekai’d himself into the Granblue Fantasy Skydom after misusing a gadget or two. Expect more details to come in December, which incidentally, is also typically announces the start of the eye-watering gacha roulette fiesta.

Other news includes:

• Rosetta receiving her 5-star uncap
• Rise of the Beasts event starting 7 November, with a 5-star uncap for the Qinglong Spear. The Main Character will also get an outfit for upgrading all 3 Qinglong Spears to level 200.
• Rerun of The Doss! End of the Line Farewell Tour event, featuring Aoidos
• Super Ultimate Bahamut raid coming early December, using V2 battle system and apparently more difficult than Dark Rapture
• Changes to Bahamut and Ultima weapons
• Real life Grandcypher Kitchen event, and separately, karaoke-collaboration drinks and merchandise

December’s updates will be announced at the annual Granblue Fantasy Fes, to be online only, before being summarized in an official website post. The event was initially planned to be partially offline, which has now been scrapped.
