Cyberstep, the developer of GetAmped on PC recently announces GetAmped Mobile to launch domestically later this year (which means only Japan will have it). For those who don’t know about GetAmped yet, it is an MMO Fighting-Action game that gathers over 30 million players worldwide since its first release in Japan during 2002.
The mobile version of GetAmped will still focus on multiplayer battles just like its predecessor. However, other than the original Tournament Mode and Challenge Mode, a new story mode will be available as well. You can also customize your avatar, and equip a wide variety of weapons or accessories including pistols and clubs.
No news on any launch other than in Japan yet, but judging from the past experience (PC version that launches globally after a few years) we might get a global version if the game does well in Japan.
