Publisher Forever Entertainment and developer MegaPixel Studio have announced that FRONT MISSION 3: Remake will release on January 30, 2026 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and GOG. The game will be priced at $34.99 / €34.99, and a demo is currently available on all platforms.

The remake originally launched on the Nintendo Switch on June 26, 2025, and is now expanding to additional platforms.

The remake includes several new features and improvements. The graphics and animations have been updated for modern platforms, and the soundtrack has been reorchestrated. Players can now customize their Wanzers with different camouflage options, giving their mechs a personalized look on the battlefield. A new Quick Combat Mode has also been added for players who want faster-paced battles.

FRONT MISSION 3: Remake is a turn-based tactical RPG that places players in control of giant mechs called Wanzers. The game is set in a future where nations and corporations fight for power using these machines. Players take on the roles of Kazuki Takemura and Ryogo as they navigate through military conflicts and uncover a global conspiracy.

The story begins when Kazuki and Ryogo get caught up in a military conflict during what was supposed to be a routine delivery mission.
