Square Enix has released a new trailer for Forspoken, this time highlighting on the parkour aspect of the game.
From the trailer, we are given a deep dive into the Magic Parkour abilities that help Fray traverse the world of Athia.
- Flow: Move at a high speed
- Rush: Allows Fray to Flow even faster with a burst of concentrated energy and replenishes her stamina
- Shimmy: Accelerate rapidly by kicking off the ground to cover large distances in a single jump without using stamina
- Float: Soften any fall to allow safe landing from any heights.
- Glide: Skimming the surface to travel across Athia’s rivers and lakes
- Zip: A magical tether that lets Frey grabs onto certain objects in a distance to pull herself out of harms way or access locations outside of her reach.
- Soar: Kick off surfaces to traverse vertical heights
- Scale: Create Phantom footholds that allow Fray to ascend into greater heights
The Magic Parkour abilities require stamina and by completing Spellcraft challenges, you can upgrade these abilities from reducing stamina consumption to a faster recovery rate.
Forpsoken is an action RPG game developed by Luminous Productions and published by Square Enix set to release on January 24th, 2023 for the PlayStation 5 and PC.
