Dynamis One, a South Korean game studio founded by former Blue Archive developers, has started development on a new RPG following the cancellation of its first project. Publisher NCSoft announced that it will invest in the studio and publish the upcoming title.
The studio was established by former core team members who worked on Blue Archive, Nexon’s popular gacha RPG. In 2024, Dynamis One revealed Project KV as its first game, but development was abruptly cancelled after players criticized the project for looking and feeling too similar to Blue Archive.

The controversy grew more serious in February 2025 when police raided Dynamis One’s offices. Authorities suspected that staff members had taken unreleased development data from Nexon when they left the company. The search reportedly found evidence that developers had engaged in embezzlement and attempted to compromise Blue Archive’s development before leaving Nexon. As a result, Dynamis One’s CEO Park Byung-Lim and other key figures were referred to prosecutors for allegedly violating Korea’s Unfair Competition Prevention Act. They were not detained.
Despite these legal issues, the studio has now moved forward with a new project. The game, currently called Project AT, is described as a magic-themed, anime-style RPG. According to NCSoft, the title will draw on Dynamis One’s experience in the genre. NCSoft has secured both domestic and global publishing rights for the game, suggesting it will be released in Korea and internationally.
