Step into Midgar

The demo allows players to step into the shoes of mercenary Cloud Strife as he joins the underground resistance group Avalanche on a mission to destroy a Mako Reactor powering the dystopian city of Midgar. Players experience the opening chapter’s mix of narrative and action, encountering the shadowy Shinra Electric Power Company and engaging in combat that combines swordplay, magic, and Limit Breaks.
Bonus Rewards for Demo Players

Those who carry demo save data into the full game will receive bonus items, including the “Revival Earrings” and the “Survival Set,” providing helpful advantages as they begin the full adventure.
Release and Platform Availability

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will officially launch on Xbox Series and Switch 2 on January 22, 2026. The game is already available on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Starting January 22, the PC version will also be accessible through the Microsoft Store.
