British pop singer Ed Sheeran is stepping up to be a Pokemon Master in the latest Pokemon Go event.

Ed Sheeran will be appearing in Pokemon Go alongside a Squirtle in sunglasses in an event that will involve a concert and new cosmetic items for Squirtle and player avatars. The event will begin on November 22 2021 and last until the 30th of November.

During the event, players will be able to watch Ed Sheeran sing in-game while playing Pokemon Go. There will be six of his songs included in the game:

• Perfect
• Thinking Out Loud
• Bad Habits
• First Times
• Overpass Graffiti
• Shivers

During the event, Water types will be more common, as apparently, Ed Sheeran is a big fan of water-types. This includes the sunglasses pokemon Squirtle as well as other water starter pokemon Totadile, Mudkip, Piplup, Oshawott, and Froakie. If someone is in need of more water-type candy to get a Blastoise, now is your time.

Final for the avatar costumes, players can get an Ed Sheeran album sweatshirt for their character by redeeming the following code: VVM87WGMMUZHTB8X during the event.

Pokemon Go is currently available for IOS and Android devices. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have also recently been released for Nintendo Switch.
