Digimon Story: Time Stranger Alternate Dimension DLC Launches December 8

Bandai Namco and Media.Vision have announced the first downloadable content for Digimon Story: Time Stranger. The episode pack, titled “Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 1: Alternate Dimension,” will launch on December 8 at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 a.m. MYT on December 9.

Moreover, the DLC introduces new Digivolutions and expands the game’s story through a focused, high-stakes questline. As a result, players can explore new combat possibilities while uncovering deeper secrets hidden across timelines.

New Digimon Evolutions and Story Content 

This DLC adds fresh Digivolution routes for Mega-level Digimon, including BlitzGreymon, CresGarurumon, Omnimon Zwart Defeat, and Omnimon Alter-B. In addition, each form delivers new strategic options that change how players approach battles.

Meanwhile, the special questline ties together encounters across time and space. Players will track down and defeat the Digimon behind the Akashic Backdoor, which drives the story forward with new threats and twists.

How Players Can Access the DLC

Players who purchased the Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Edition will receive access to the DLC at launch. Alternatively, players can purchase the pack separately or access it through the Season Pass.

Furthermore, the developers have released a new trailer that showcases the upcoming content, highlighting both the new Digimon and the alternate dimension setting.
