Bandai Namco has announced that Digimon Alysion, their free-to-play card game based on the physical Digimon Card Game, is set to launch on mobile devices in 2026. The game brings the Digimon Card Game experience to iOS and Android, letting players build decks with Digimon and battle others online. Along with that, Digimon Alysion adds features made specifically for the digital version, such as animated evolution sequences and a more streamlined match experience.

Digimon Alysion will not just be a straight port of the physical card game. The game will include original cards and brand-new Digimon and characters that are created for the mobile platform, alongside familiar cards that fans of the physical game will already recognize. The game also has its own story, which takes place in the same universe as the Digimon Liberator web manga, a series that also centers on the Digimon Card Game.
The game was first revealed during Digimon Con 2025, where Bandai Namco introduced it alongside a trailer showing off several new characters. The trailer introduced a fresh cast of characters, including Kanata Hondo, who appears to be the protagonist, Futre, and Valner Dragnogh, who looks to be a rival character. Development for Digimon Alysion has been ongoing since then and updates to the game have included UI redesigns, the addition of a player-versus-player mode for playing with friends, and support for more languages.
