Top Hat Studios has officially announced that it will publish DELIVERY MUST COMPLETE, a fast-paced cel-shaded aerial roguelike action game developed by Yoyoyollie. The game is planned for release on PC via Steam, bringing a stylized, high-speed aerial combat experience that blends arcade shooting, roguelike structure, and over-the-top action spectacle.
The game positions itself as a high-intensity fusion of aerial combat and stylish action design, drawing comparisons in tone and energy to character-action and flight combat genres.
A High-Speed Aerial Roguelike Built Around Style and Chaos

DELIVERY MUST COMPLETE is described as a “Devil May Cry meets Ace Combat” style experience, combining fast-paced dogfights with roguelike progression systems. Players pilot customizable aircraft through cel-shaded skies filled with constant combat encounters, upgrading their loadouts and adapting to increasingly chaotic battles.
The core gameplay loop emphasizes aggressive aerial movement, precise dodging, and maintaining high “style” performance during combat. Players earn style points by chaining attacks, evasive maneuvers, and advanced flight techniques, with performance feeding into an evolving ranking system that rewards mastery and risk-taking.

Combat scenarios are designed to be large-scale and visually dynamic, featuring battles against not only enemy aircraft but also unexpected threats such as blimps, mechanical constructs, dragons, and massive war machines.
Procedurally Generated Skies and Unpredictable Combat Encounters

A key feature of DELIVERY MUST COMPLETE is its procedurally generated battlefield system. Every run presents a different map layout, environmental conditions, and combat structure, ensuring that no two playthroughs are the same.
The game includes multiple environmental zones with dynamic weather systems, shifting cloud coverage, terrain anomalies, and random combat events. These elements significantly affect aerial strategy, forcing players to adapt flight paths and engagement styles on the fly.
This roguelike structure is designed to keep each mission unpredictable while maintaining the fast, arcade-inspired pacing of the combat system.
Movement, Mechanics, and High-Speed Aerial Freedom

Movement plays a central role in the experience, with players able to perform sharp aerial drifts, rapid boosts, and high-speed directional changes. The game encourages aggressive flight behavior, rewarding players who take risks and maintain momentum during combat encounters.
Instead of conventional flight limitations, the design encourages constant motion and improvisation, allowing players to weave through attacks, reposition instantly, and maintain offensive pressure even during chaotic engagements.
The emphasis on fluid movement and style-based combat reinforces the game’s identity as both a roguelike and an arcade action title.
A Narrative Focused on a High-Stakes Delivery Mission

Players take on the role of a courier assigned to deliver a package through an active warzone. The skies are filled with elite fighter squadrons competing for control and dominance. However, the player must push through every obstacle to complete the mission.
Even when the player crashes or fails, the game continues through a warp system that resets the journey. Therefore, failure becomes part of progression rather than a permanent setback.
The story builds around one core objective: complete the delivery no matter how many attempts it takes.
