Square Enix has released one last trailer for Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion alongside new information for the game featuring new battle elements and more.
In Crisis Core, Zack will be able to use multiple new battle elements when he obtains the Buster Sword like Battle Stances and Strong Attacks. As you progress through the game, he’ll also be able to take on various different minigames and sub-events.
Here is an overview of the new features introduced:
- Buster Sword Battle Stance and Strong Attacks: Spend AP to enter the stance that changes his regular attacks into heavy-hitting Strong Attacks and increase the damage from his abilities
- Minigames: Take on minigames to earn items and gil, such as Physical Fitness Test where you will be doing Squats in the training room of the Shinra Building
- Sub-events: Get to know more about the characters of the game through the sub-events such as building a flower wagon with Aerith
- Mail: Get mails from various people that will provide extra background information to the story and even the characters to further flesh out the world. Zack will also start to receive emails from fan clubs after fulfilling special conditions.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is an action RPG by Square Enix serving as the prequel Final Fantasy VII featuring Zack’s days as a Soldier.
The game is set to release on December 13th, 2022, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam.
